Make a bowl using coil building or the Himozukuri technique, while talking
with friends in a warm atmosphere. Create a base that looks like a Japanese
rice cracker and build up three layers of coil on it to complete the bowl.
This warm and personal teaching method is the most suitable for hand building.

| You can make a cup with slab building or the Itazukuri technique. The long creation process is a good opportunity to make friends. Also,
if you make your own seals (letters, numbers etc) you can write an original
message on your work. You will be using a board which you will cut to make
all the necessary parts such as the base, the main body, the handles etc.

slab building technique. You will be working with a square chunk of clay and you can decide on
your own the size of your pottery vessel. A cutting string will help you
cut your creation. You can decorate the surface of the plate with your

mud dumpling! Pottery is a nice way to start cultivating children’s emotions and creativity. Once they have made a round shape they can use several designs. Anything
can be fine! Children may use their imagination freely! Using the fingertips
is a technique strongly recommended for intellectual training (especially
for infants and early childhood).
