Specially arranged classes
Due to the variety of individuals, members as well as visitors, who are interested in pottery, Saideigama offers Specially arranged courses. Having our customers needs as our main objective, in Saideigama we plan events for various institutions and for different objectives i.e children parties. These courses are carefully designed to fit all participants’ levels from beginners to more advanced, thanks to our staff’s guidance and discrete supervision.


Our Classrooms

Standard Courses

Creations painted with the color of every season and decorated with real plant leaves!

Leaf decorated plates Autumn leaves chopstick rests
Requires 300gr of raw clay (generates 1 item of about 14 cm long)

Requires 300gr of raw clay (generates 3 items)

Fees per person: ¥1500 (including material charges).
Parents assisting their children will not be charged for a second chunk of clay. (Parent- child courses are available).
There are no commuting charges for close distances but for faraway destinations please contact us in advance.
In case you would like to use more than 20 chunks of clay (in other words for more than ¥30.000 charges) please contact us in advance.

Timetable/Product delivery

Hall preparation: about 1 hour
Explanation- Practice: about 1 hour
Departure: about 30 min

Necessary things are an apron and a towel.
The hall is clean
All the necessary tools shall be provided by Saideigama

Delivery of the finished products will be done 1 to 1 1/2 months later. There is a ¥2000 charge per item covering packing and delivering fees which are to be paid in cash on delivery
In case participants can pick their work themselves there is no extra charge.

Other courses

Saideigama can also deliver the One day trial course and the elements shown below. The charges are the same as in the One day trial course. Also, there are no commuting charges for close distances but for faraway destinations please contact us in advance.

The above mentioned activities (leaf shaped plates, Halloween lanterns, Snow-man shaped lamps etc) as well as Saideigama’s trademark and designs are strictly Saideigama’s property. Imitation and reproduction are not permitted regardless of the person (individual or legal entity).

Culture Classroom: The area in which specially arranged courses are conducted.
Saideigama sponsors the space for all special and pre arranged activities.
While using the electric wheel under our staff’s guidance, you can enjoy pottery making and understand the essence of modern times that we try to convey with our teaching methods.
Saideigamas pottery assignments are based on seasonal themes so everyone can learn pottery easily, while having fun.
